The new Toyota Innova Hycross GX Limited Edition comes with cosmetic and interior enhancements for just Rs. 40,000 more than the standard GX trim. Toyota has quietly introduced a special model of its popular midsize MPV, the Innova Hycross. The newly launched “Innova Hycross GX Limited Edition” is priced between Rs. 20.07 lakh and Rs. 20.22 lakh (ex-showroom) and represents a Rs 40,000 price premium over the normal GX trim. This unique edition features exterior and interior cosmetic upgrades. The exterior changes are minimal but effective. The front grille has a beautiful chrome garnish that runs across the centre to the sides.
Additionally, both the front and rear bumpers have new faux silver-painted skid plates that offer a touch of refinement. For an extra Rs. 9,500, enthusiasts can choose the Platinum White exterior paint choice.
However, because it is based on the GX trim, various features featured in higher trims, such as bumper garnishes and wider alloy wheels, are not present in this variation. Surprisingly, the main metamorphosis occurs inside the Toyota Innova Hycross GX Limited Edition, where major modifications are made.
The dashboard and door trims have been given a luxury soft-touch chestnut brown finish, which was formerly reserved for the more expensive VX specification. It is complemented by faux wood trim around the window controls, which adds a sense of luxury to the interior. The cloth seat coverings are given a fashionable dual-tone black and brown finish, which adds to the overall look. The Limited Edition vehicle is available in both 7-seater and 8-seater versions, giving purchasers options. The limited edition model retains the ordinary GX trim’s 2.0-litre, naturally aspirated, mild-hybrid petrol engine. This motor, mated to a CVT gearbox, produces 172 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque.
